The Community Youth Development Leadership Council is a group of business and community leaders who believe in giving back to the community, through volunteering and community involvement. This group is charged with providing policy and planning direction to the CYD organization through thoughtful input and participation. Council members help secure the position of CYD in the community by promoting CYD principles and involvement. In addition, Council members participate in the creation and implementation of strategies to secure sufficient fiscal and human resources to support the various needs and activities of CYD.
Each Council member is expected to regularly attend Leadership Council meetings, participate on a CYD sub-committee, contribute both personally and financially, and share expertise and community networks with the Council.
